Personal Brief
Jamie McLaren is Run-Riot’s Founder and Creative Director. McLaren oversees the day-to-day Editorial and Business along with its ongoing Development.
Prior to founding Run-Riot McLaren had worked in the arts as an event producer, marketeer, and in PR at some of London’s most unique venues as well as Europe’s most established arts centres, and pioneering international festivals. He has also been a dancer, DJ, and managed a nightclub.
He has been involved with the Almeida Theatre, BBC, Barbican (BITE), Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club, Company In Space (Australia), KARAS (Saburo Teshigawara), Southbank Centre, Greenwich & Docklands International Festival, Hoxton Hall, London International Festival of Theatre, Random Dance (Wayne McGregor), Vice Gallery, among others.
McLaren studied Graphic Design, followed by Contemporary Dance & Choreography. He has lived in Valencia, Melbourne and London.
