Extinction Rebellion: Governments - Where is your plan?

As General Election season begins, and to mark six months since the UK Parliament declared an Environment and Climate Emergency, Extinction Rebellion are calling for everyone to demand their government's plan to address the crisis.

Through voices representing a lifetime, aged 8 to 80, the film demands that leaders around the world act on the climate and ecological emergency, including stopping the destruction of our forests, our oceans and our wildlife, reducing zero carbon emissions as a matter of urgency and investing in a green economy.

Culture Declares Emergency: Letters to the Earth - a Book Launch

In February 2019 Culture Declares Emergency invited the British public to put pen to paper and write a Letter to the Earth. The invitation was open to all. These letters of love, loss, hope and action were written by over 1000 people worldwide - from 4 year olds to great grandparents, authors, scientists, nurses.

Making her musical debut: 16-year-old activist Greta Thunberg lends her voice to a new track by The 1975

Having become one of the leading voices in the climate change debate, the environmental activist restates her message through the power of music.

All proceeds from the track will go to Extinction Rebellion at Thunberg’s request.
