The Baile LDN crew are taking the party to a brand new venue! This'll be their biggest party yet. Expect baile funk, gqom, afrohouse and other bass-heavy club sounds.

BadSista is one of Sao Paulo’s most innovative and talented artists. An incredible DJ whose sets bring together everything from techno to rave to baile funk to Chicago house, she’s respected worldwide and smashes it everywhere from Boiler Room to Primavera to cutting edge electronic festival CTM. Her productions have seen her share releases with Marfox, Gilles Peterson and Nidia and she was the musical director for Linn Da Quebrada’s first album. A fierce advocate for women and LGBTQIA+ equality, BadSista’s Bandida project brings together women from the peripheries to share the musical stage with her. We are honoured to welcome her back for what’s sure to be a legendary set at Baile LDN.

Joining her on the bill is DJ Karaba, an artist we’ve had our eye on for a minute! As a dancer she’s performed alongside some of pop music’s heaviest hitters such as Drake, Camilla Cabello, and Selena Gomez. But when she discovered DJing suddenly she felt even more connected to music. Her sets build to an amazing intensity. There is no moment of pause or slow down. Her connections between dance and DJing make her the perfect match for our night and we know you’re going to love it!

Completing the bill is Vanessa Maria. Her impeccable selection and positive energy has made her one of London’s most in-demand DJs and it’s easy to see why: she brings bangers spanning jersey club, baile funk, UK funky, bass and club edits and she brings pure joy to the dancefloor. She’s been busy making appearances at Boiler Room, Dazed Magazine, Warehouse Project and HÖR in Berlin. Vanessa’s work in and around music and mental health has also not gone unnoticed, especially through her work with Keep Hush and as a key host at Resident Advisor and Foundation FM. Catch her while you can!

They’ll be joined by Baile LDN residents Emily Dust and Mango Park. Emily Dust is a DJ, broadcaster and curator whose documentaries are regularly heard on BBC Radio 4. In the last year she’s played her signature blend of UK funky, baile funk, gqom and other percussive club genres alongside Moonchild Sanelly, Branko and Plastician and at iconic London venues like Fabric, XOYO, TOLA and the Jazz Cafe.

Mango Park is a DJ, journalist and promoter whose sets combine baile funk, gqom, afrohouse and amapiano with uk funky, grime, jungle and other club sounds.

Baile LDN was formed in 2019 by Emily Dust and Mango Park to celebrate the links between baile funk, gqom, afrohouse and other bass-heavy club sounds. Launched with an impeccable series of events, Baile LDN has seen sets from the likes of SD9 (UK Debut), Marginal Men (UK Debut), Leo Justi, KG, Freak De L'Afrique, Toya Delazy, Kensaye, DJ Kwamzy, Tryb, Princess Trium, Jaymie Silk (UK debut), K2RAH and more.

2022 saw a 13 hour takeover at Boomtown Festival and regular nights at Boxpark including for the Brazil World Cup games.
