Open Call for Artists: Splice Festival, London

Splice Festival, London’s audiovisual performing arts festival taking place 25–28 May, is accepting submissions from artists.

The Open Call welcomes artists working with image and sound, from AV performances to VJ sets. In the past, they have hosted performances from Plaid, Cassetteboy and Sculpture – this is a fantastic opportunity to perform at a forward-thinking artistic showcase.

Tegan and Sara, the Canadian sisters, artists and LGBTQ activists, have announced they will launch their own foundation for women and girls.

According to its mission statement, The Tegan and Sara Foundation will work with similar groups to support “economic justice, health, and representation for LGBTQ girls and women,” based on principles of “feminism and racial, social and gender justice”.
