What is a gogoia fruit? Where does it come from? Do we know what has passed here? Inspired by Gal Costa’s famous folk song, renowned Brazilian dance artist Thelma Bonavita presents a lyrical dance in three parts.
Bonavita combines fruit, balloons, wigs and metaphors related to the Brazilian cultural imagination to rework elements of Tropicália, a Brazilian Democratic movement of the 1960s.
