14th-22nd Sept. Mien Magazine remind us of the importance of old fashioned charm in the modern world. Don't miss RR's Editor Katie Antoniou giving a talk on 'Having A Good Nights Sleep'.

On select afternoons and evenings, the Charm School will feature a variety of “after-school” activities for grown-ups: an assortment of delightful happenings including sewing, posture tutorials, de-stressing clinics, soothing stretches, recipe exchanges and more. Most importantly, the Charm School will be free of mobile telephones, computers and modern-day gadgets, making time for quality, face-to-face conversations and activities. (Come down on the 19th to catch yours truly talking about how to get a good night's sleep)

* Vintage Style Concierge with Lena Weber, Editor of the Vintage Guide to London (£10 for session served with a cocktail)

Thursday, September 15th 12-2pm

* Make your own stationery with Alice Gabb, illustrator and lover of all things paper (£10 includes all materials along with tea and treat)

Friday, September 16th 12-2pm

* DIY Home Economics: exchange recipes at the Charm School (free entry, come with your notebook and treat yourself to a tea and treat from Charm School bar)

* Posture tutorials – walk straight and correctly with Corinne Curtis of Fitness Inspiration AND

* How to stay charming and cool when under pressure – a workshop on understanding the causes of modern-day stress and how to combat it. With Paula Ruane of the Juggling Goddess (£20 for full session along with punch and treat)

Saturday, September 17th 12-2pm

* Learn the art of table talk and perfect the tips with onsite practice with Dana Gornitzki, Mistress of Manners, MIEN Magazine (£10 for session with tea and late breakfast treat)

4-6pm

* Teatime lounge session on the benefits of escaping to the countryside (plus a few tips for survival) with Jessica Fellowes, author of Mud and the City: Dos and Don’ts for Townies in the Country (£15 for session with cream tea)

* Charm School social: A good old-fashioned get-together. Learn how to create the penultimate music mix by watching and listening to party host extraordinaire Barrys Lounge. Enjoy a glass of punch, do a little dance and enjoy the company of others away from emails and text messages. (£10)
