As part of this year’s Craft Trail at the Thames Festival, Of Cabbages and Kings will be teaming up with the Creative Biscuit Ceramics Café to bring you a wonderful adventure in Wonderland.
Find the ‘Mad Hatters’ tent, tucked between Tower Bridge and London Bridge for all-day afternoon tea and a look around the curious little shop. South Woodford’s Creative Biscuit Ceramics Café will be serving up cream cakes and jam tarts, while Of Cabbages and Kings will be selling jammy dodger necklaces that you can wear! Explore Ali Miller’s new range of surreal Victoriana-style bone-china tableware alongside beautiful ceramics from By-Louise and Hanne Rysgaard, and other humorous homewares by London-based designers Crumpet and Skirt, Stuart Gardiner and Saranotsarah. Biba’s Tea Party bring to life a fantasy nonsense world of pocket watches, chess boards, playing cards and talking cats will also be there on the day painting white roses red! Come along and make your own rose! The Craft Trail will stretch the Festival route (Westminster Bridge- Tower Bridge) and a map will be available in both print form and online along with a reward card, goody bags, other exciting stuff to be announced nearer the time!
