Can fashion and feminism ever be friends? Sali Hughes, Polly Vernon & Grace Woodward discuss.

Come and hear another stellar panel discuss the thorny issue of squaring one’s feminist principles with a love of lipstick and lace at this autumn’s 4th Estate Literary Salon at The Book Club.

From the ambiguous messages of the beauty industry and the catwalk to the downright fun of dressing up and expressing oneself, we will be dissecting the subject from all perspectives for a night of lively debate and deliberation.

On this salon’s illustrious panel will be journalist and Guardian beauty columnist Sali Hughes, style writer and columnist Polly Vernon and fashion stylist and commentator Grace Woodward.

There will be an interval for drinks and the discussion will be followed by a q&a plus a chance to meet and mingle with the speakers afterwards.
