A mix of theatre, dance and the unexpected-prepare ro be enthralled.
In its London premiere, this tour of whirlwind romance, city confusion, undersea encounters and dining-room debacles is told through an enchanting blend of theatre, illusion and dance by director and designer Victoria Thierrée Chaplin. Murmurs, the follow-up to the internationally acclaimed Aurélia’s Oratorio, presents protagonist Aurélia Thierrée as a woman fleeing from reality in a life filled with cardboard boxes. Seemingly everyday actions become spectacles of strange and beautiful transformations as she becomes immersed in snippets of others’ lives. Beautiful and thought-provoking, Murmurs is a wonder to both the eye and the mind.
