Gentlemen’s Dub Club recently achieved No.1 in the iTunes reggae chart and has yet to leave the top 20 with their ‘Open Your Eyes EP’. GDC’s sticksman Tommy Evans is also the drummer for the hugely acclaimed live dubstep band Submotion Orchestra and their bassist Toby Davies records as the hotly-tipped producer Planas. The Gentleman have been receiving praise from Mixmag, DJ Mag to Rob Da Bank and have built an impressive fan base on the live circuit. Festival performances include Latitude, Glastonbury, Bestival, V, Secret Garden Party. The GDC have supported such acts as Madness, Jerry Dammers (The Specials), Roots Manuva,The Streets, The Wailers, Finlay Quaye, Natty, The Bays, Beardyman, Zion Train and Foreign Beggars Live Band.
