Cultural stars come out to play with VICE & Voda
We reckon the lovely people at Vice and Vodafone are onto something. They've just launched the 'Heroes' project withVodafone 360 which they call- 'a new set of internet services perfectly made for savvy, social, passionate, trendy, young peeps.'
Basically it is cool people flogging stuff. BUT WHAT PEOPLE! Vice have chosen some cultural mavericks and we think it's worth a look.
Highlights include:
VV Brown picking up her bow and arrow to learn the skills of archery, medieval style.
Henry Holland building his own miniature House of Holland within a Henry Holland themed warehouse space, and throws a house warming party to celebrate.
La Roux making her debut performance at a catwalk show.
Santigold setting herself the challenge of learning polo to a professional level in one day only.
Chromeo Pee Thugg, one half of Chromeo heading to a remote English raceway to drive monster trucks for the day, crushing awesome amounts of metal.
Speech Debelle indulging her curiosity for aviation, taking an adrenalin-filled aerobatic ride through the skies.
Simian Mobile Disco taking you through the creative process and the making of their epic new video for their new single with director Saam Farahmand.
Faris Badwan frontman and superstar of The Horrors creates a short film, his directorial debut, to accompany the first single of his brand new solo project.
What's this got to do with Run-Riot? Well watch this space! in the mean time check out the vice interview with Lilly Allen (who we like, ok?! we just do) and have a look at the 360 site.
