Run Riot have been a massive fan of Chessboxing since 2008, when we first witnessed the fitness of founder Tim Woolgar delivering his punch with calculated strategy. Chessboxing is the ultimate sport where the winner must float like a butterfly and sting like a bee during alternating rounds of boxing, then chess. The winner is the first to beat the opponent in either the ring or on the board - so you have to flex your muscle on all accounts!

DRESS CODE

Are you the Brain or the Braun? Mind or Muscle? Geek or Freak? Which tribe will you align yourself with? For the brainboxes think Carol Vorderman, Hermione Granger, Velma, Peter Parker, Mark Zuckerberg, Napoleon Dynamite, the IT crowd, librarian chic, science lab style and nerd couture. For the muscle, think Rocky, Muhammed Ali, Arnold Scwarzenegger, vintage boxing garb, superheroes and strongmen. Or if you're feeling inventive, come as a chess piece yourself a la Alice in Wonderland-the red queen? The black knight? We're all mad here!
