Miss Cakehead appeals to the sweet tooth of anyone still dubious about the royal wedding with themed confectionery served with a good dose of tongue in cheek

Delicacies will include:

- Flash, bang, wallop, what a cupcake

- Molly Bakes cake pops

- Painted cookies from Nevie Pie

- McVities biscuit cakes as will be enjoyed by the happy couple on the day (large and small)

- Union Jack cupcakes

- Cakes with ‘phototoppers’ of the happy couple and THAT engagement picture; including a cake ‘set’ of all the major players who will appear on the balcony - Cake Bingo – cupcakes with specially chosen words so you can much your way through the ceremony (I so want to include ‘air hostess’)

- Cupcakes featuring the four flowers as featured on the happy couples very own official cake

- Large flag shaped Union Jack cake (pre order only)

The aim is to allow everyone to stock up for Royal Wedding celebrations the next day, and provide some light relief for the last official working day before a four day weekend! Further details of the event, and it’s menu, are to be revealed via the @miss_cakehead Twitter stream. It’s an extreme pop up’ the shop will open at 11 and close as soon as the cakes are sold out so it is recommended people get their early as the previous event, Cakes for Japan, sold out in three hours.
