Giffords Circus is one of the few events we think it's worth leaving London for.

In fact, people travel from all over the world to see this show- a stunning tribute to the early days of British circus. Think acrobatics, a live band, elaborate costumes and theatrical narrative, an old-fashioned clown and beautiful horses. Our editor has been going since Gifford's first year and even celebrated her 21st birthday there- a fair few years ago!
