31 May & 1 June: come along for two days of debate, film, music, art more from the world's most dangerous thinkers...
That we live in dangerous times is obvious: war and economic crisis are spreading, some states are on the point of economic collapse and everywhere establishment politics are broken.
This is a moment for subversive and radical ideas.
This festival will bring together people from the forefront of global struggles: radical economists and philosophers, socialists, feminists and environmentalists, artists, skaters, students and trade-unionists.
Contributions include Owen Jones on how to tackle scroungers, Laurie Penny and China Miéville debating the future of the left, Terry Eagleton on why Marx was right, Tariq Ali on the decline of American power, Long Live Southbank skate and graffiti performances, Seamus Milne in conversation with Nina Power, Peter Kennard on art and protest, plus film, music and the spoken word pop-up performances, films, workshops, exhibitions and more....
The festival will fill the halls, parks and public spaces of Kings Cross with children's facilities & entertainment provided by the Calthorpe Project on Saturday (...)
These are dangerous times, they call for dangerous ideas.
