Building a festival around principles of sustainability and transition, the Cuckoo Land crew bring you the guilt-free festival of the future.
Cloud Cuckoo Land lay on some of the brightest musical stars of tomorrow, from Years and Years to Coco's Lovers and the coolest DJs like Dutty Moonshine. But this festival is about more than just the music, speakers who'll be enlightening you include prolific environmentalist Tamsin Omond and the groundbreaking Kindness Offensive.Whilst you can enjoy the usual festival activities like hula hooping and yoga, you can also broaden your horizons with workshops on permaculture and foraging.
Hosted on an intimate eco-farm in the Mendips, this is real rural atmosphere like the Glastonbury of yore, with some events even held in the shearing barn. For those scared by such rustic surroundings, there is still the luxury camping option with costs that don't make your eyes water the way mainstream festival's glamping price tags do.
Cloud Cuckoo Land is proud to support Brake the Cycle by donating all proceeds from this year’s festival to its chosen charities, the Otesha Project UK and AfriKids, as well as smaller projects that have inspired them, such as the farm at Fernhill and the Oasis of Hope in Mexico.
