Camp promises post 70’s light entertainment with heavy weight talent. Limp wrists, catchphrases and other cliches welcome.
Award winning performance artist Scottee debuts his newest project at CircusFest that harks back to a forgotten time of British variety.
Camp is a mixed bill show of camp clichés, television re-enactments and good old fashioned light entertainment that has nothing whatsoever to do with the c word, cabaret. London is crawling with posh kids putting on fishnet stockings and Germanic accents in an attempt to become cabaret sensations.
Camp welcomes you to talk normally, rip the nipple tassels off and belt out a sing-a-long in a nice sequin suit. In-house dance troupe Japans People throw shapes in-between super show offs that include: Ursula Martinez, Jonny Woo, Mat Fraser, Bourgeois & Maurice, Dickie Beau, Bryony Kimmings, Fancy Chance, Ryan Styles, Titti La Camp, Wilfredo, Bagdad’s Got Talent, David Mills, Jess Love, Myra Dubois, Nando Messias, Russella, Gloria Swansong and Marisa Carnesky’s Finishing School.
Scottee will also be debuting new work including Jim’ll Didn’t, Scottee Will, as Jim never got round to so many. Scottee is looking to hear from anyone who wrote Saville a letter in the 70's or 80's and make your dream finally come true, email: info@scottee.co.uk
