What happens when you place technology in the realms of the poetic, symbolic and mythical? Poets and artists Nisha Ramayya, Erica Scourti and Rebecca Tamás read from their work engaging with weaving, algorithmic writing and witchcraft.

Poetry and computer programming are forms of making that have at their heart a negotiation between order and chaos. Navigating the many affinities found between art and science, and magic and technology, this creative encounter of poetry and logic delves into the the complexity of our lives.

Erica Scourti is an artist and writer and the guest editor of The Happy Hypocrite: Silver Bandage (Book Works, 2019).

Rebecca Tamás is the author of WITCH (Penned in the Margins, 2019), co-editor of Spells: 21st-Century Occult Poetry and Lecturer in Creative Writing at York St John University.
