Jo King has had a phenomenal career in the fascinating world of burlesque. Beginning in London's cabaret clubs in the 1970s, she has entertained audiences all over the world with a variety of her elegant, sexy and tongue-in-cheek performances. Realising the therapeutic powers of her craft, Jo formed the London Academy of Burlesque in 2000. Her mission is to help women, all women, feel fabulous about themselves regardless of age, shape, size or ability!

In June 2008, celebrating her 30th year in the industry, Jo performed at the 52nd Annual Burlesque Reunion Showcase in Las Vegas, where she was the first British performer ever to be awarded the title of "Burlesque Legend"!
