Join Ed Stafford and Klaus Thymann, as they chat about their adventures through the Amazon, the world’s retreating glaciers and a photographic collaboration with NASA.

Ed Stafford, an avid adventurer, who over the course of an 860 day endeavour walked into the history books after completing the longest jungle expedition ever undertaken and became the first man to walk the length of the Amazon River. Ed will be speaking about his experiences after navigating the entire length of the 4000 mile river on foot from its source in Peru to the mouth of the river on the shores of Brazil.

A regular contributor to i-D Magazine, Klaus Thymann is an award-winning photographer with a difference. For the Extreme Island Exploration workshop, Klaus will be talking about his work on Project Pressure in collaboration with NASA. Initially conceived during his extensive travels on global assignments, Project Pressure will be the first Glacier Atlas consisting of more than 500 images of the world’s retreating glaciers from every relevant continent on the planet.

Entry is free only as part of the Diesel School of Island Life and will only be given by showing a Diesel Island Passport which you can pick up from your local Diesel store.
