Being A Man celebrates boys and men, and addresses the pressures of masculine identity in the 21st century.
Now in its third year, the Being A Man festival returns to the Southbank Centre for three days of discussions and debates on everything from shared paternity leave to shyness, from video games to transgender identity.
This year the festival takes a look at what it means to be a hero, from the artists who challenge expectations, to the heroism it takes to embrace your true identity. Speakers include Professor Green, The Last Poets, Kele Okereke; and Sir Roger Moore, who reflects candidly on stepping into the shoes of the ultimate on-screen hero, 007.
Across the three days of the festival, you'll find a wind range of speakers who reflect the abundant variety of modern masculinity. On Saturday there will be a series of talks, workshops and catwalks exploring men, body image and fashion, as part of the Fashion Undressed series.
