Jackson's Backson! Take a superbly idiosyncratic, absurdly funny advanced course in self-development with Will’s alter ego - American life-coach Chris John Jackson. He will change your life.

Jackson’s Way finds Will’s alter ego, American life-coach Chris John Jackson, presenting a motivational speech on his unique Way of perceiving life and reaching contentment.  Part theatre, part comedy, its unique and wholly original internal logic revels in the beauty of nonsensical mental cul-de-sacs, from the psychology of Throwing Towels to intense made-up mental challenge of the Moving Things game, where Things Get Moved, live on stage.

Will Adamsdale was the shock winner of the Perrier Award for Comedy in 2004 for Jackson’s Way after arriving in Edinburgh to workshop the show for a week. He has also won a Scotsman Fringe First and Total Theatre Award for theatre piece The Receipt. Jackson’s Way was developed with long time collaborator Kate McGrath, Co-Director of multi award winning Fuel and producer of some of the most cutting edge theatre of the past five years, from David Rosenberg’s extraordinary Electric Hotel and Sound&Fury’s Kursk to companies and artists as diverse as Uninvited Guests, Inua Ellams, Melanie Wilson and Clod Ensemble.

"Jackson's Way changed my life. It remains one of the funniest things I ever saw, but its attempts to alter the way we see the world skewed my brain permanently, and has made the most mundane of moments delightful and fascinating ever since. I never recovered". - Stewart Lee

"As funny as it is wonderfully weird… remarkable for both its sheer inventiveness and its perfect pitch". - New York Times
