Britain’s only annual festival of horror theatre reinvents Grand Guignol for the 21st century, showcasing new writing from critically acclaimed playwrights alongside exciting cabaret acts

Terror 2011 features five new short plays:
“The Waiting Mortuary” by Dave Florez (author of the 2011 Fringe First award winning “Somewhere Beneath It All A Small Fire Burns Still”) directed by Hannah Eidenow
“As Long As He Needs Me” by Lucy Kirkwood (“it felt empty when the heart went at first but it is alright now”; TV’s “Skins”) directed by Hannah Eidenow
“Wormy Close” by Carl Grose (Kneeehigh, writer of “Umbrellas of Cherbourg”) directed by Matt Peover
“The Gong” by Jack Thorne (Fringe First 2010 winner for “Bunny”; TV’s “Skins”) directed by Matt Peover
“If I Should Stay I Would Only Be In Your Way” by Tom Holloway (“Fatherland” at the Gate Theatre; “Gambling” at the Soho Theatre) directed by Matt Peover
Plus twisted cabaret turns from Desmond O’Connor Merrill Grant and a variety of guests including Jonny Woo, Sarah-Louise Young, Dusty Limits, Phil Nichol, Loretta Maine and Laura Corcoran (Frisky and Mannish).
All performances start at 7.15pm, no performances on Sundays
