The antidote to a saccharine celebration of romance and relation
Saltpeter presents An Anti-Valentine Evening, a double bill of theatre in the misshapen form of David Mamet's All Men are Whores: An Enquiry & Le Foulard(The Scarf).
An interactive, pop-up evening with live improvised score in the bowels of BGWMC. Featuring: Paris-based solo artist Lucy Hopkins, Winner of the 2011 Prague Fringe Festival Inspiration Award. This is a special sneak peak at some of her new work. She trained at Ecole Philippe Gaulier alongside the likes of Dr Brown (Soho Theatre, Edinburgh) where Philippe told her she was boring and looked like a sausage.
From saltpeter, the people who brought you The American Forever, the sold out performance piece and literary event at BGWMC featuring Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals & Thom Tuck (Penny Dreadfuls) and Nemonie Craven (Sec_rity Is Not Complete Without U, alongside Belarus Free Theatre, Almeida)
