In her own words, 'Pullman, WA' is: “a show about what to do if you're unhappy and everyone around you is kind of an asshole, including yourself.

"When starting a play, I ask myself, 'What's the last play in the world I would ever want to write?' Then I force myself to write it."

Three ordinary, awkward people address audience members directly in a witty, frequently disastrous attempt to show them how to live a better life. Provocative writer/director and "rising star" (New York Times) Young Jean Lee revisits one of her theater company's most outrageously funny works.

"Lee's snaky, tart writing and her understanding of theatrical conventions seem to exist only so she can subvert and frustrate expectations." - Time Out, New York

Q. Young Jean Lee is predominantly known for her gritty realism - "my whole work aesthetic is about human weakness and failure" - but her love for comedy is also a hallmark of her work and this passion extends across the pond. In fact, she is debuting this play in London because it has a particularly "English sense of humour". At some point, she would like English actors to read the boards in her honour and she has one particular gentlemen in mind. Who is this contemporary British comic?

A. 1) Russell Brand 2) Rob Brydon 3) Ricky Gervais 4) Steve Coogan
