Unicorn Party is a riot of stories, songs and music, comedy, and most likely copious amounts of glitter, to take a sneaky gawp at what happens when escapism becomes inescapable.

Dates and Times: Tue 11 & Wed 12 Dec, 21:00.

I say unicorn, you say party. Unicorn…Unicorn…

Unicorns, have you noticed they’re everywhere right now? I mean, not physically obviously, but they’re having a moment. As is some bizarre stuff in the news, but let’s not talk about that. Instead, let’s talk about unicorns and all the things they’ve got for us to look at; unicorn hair, unicorn snot, unicorn tears, unicorn poop… Unicorn politics. NOPE! we’re not looking at that.

Nick Field is a writer, performer and musician. His work has toured to major events and venues, and his residencies and commissions include Keats House, London Metropolitan Archives and Latitude Festival. He has toured internationally four solo shows and his recent collaboration with Rebecca Biscuit Paid Fantasist opens in 2018.

Q: The late W.T. (Bill) Rabe, known for his clever PR stunts from his days as a Detroit-area publicist, created the Unicorn Hunters in 1971, shortly after being hired as a university's Director of Public Relations. This club often made news for activities and events including: the annual List of Words Banished from the Queen’s English for Mis-Use, Over-Use and General Uselessness, World Sauntering Day, Unicorn Questing Season and Teacher Thank You Week, to name but a few. The question is, out of the following, which university did W.T. (Bill) Rabe's Unicorn Hunters take place?

Fun fact and big clue: If you ever wanted to hunt a Unicorn, you can get your official 'Unicorn Hunting License' for free. This license can be downloaded and be used anywhere in the world (and possibly beyond) and is good for a lifetime (and beyond). Get yours here: lssu.edu
