A moving and joyous new musical that brings to life the true stories of the 7,000 stranded passengers grounded in Canada during the wake of 9/11 & the small town in Newfoundland that brought them in.

With tensions running high, uneasiness transforms into music that soars through the night, and life-long friendships are created. With musical numbers including “Welcome to the Rock”, “Me and the Sky” and “Something’s Missing”, Come From Away is the winner of 4 Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical and is created by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, and is directed by Tony Award-winner Christopher Ashley. Expect a truly thrilling, emotive and uplifting new musical.

In celebration of Canada Day on Monday 1 July 2019, Come From Away will be taking over Tottenham Court Road Underground station for an afternoon of community and kindness. From 1pm there will be three cast performances in the main station concourse and cast will then be giving out a limited number of exclusive free branded Oyster cards to reflect the ‘Pay it Forward’ mentality from the show. Each Oyster card will have £5 to spend on journeys, courtesy of the show.

COMPETITION: To join in the celebration of Canada Day Run Riot has a pair of tickets to see Come From Away at the Phoenix Theatre at 19:30 on any Mon, Tues or Weds between 1-18 July.
