Bursting out of the theatre and into the bars, restaurants and stairwells of Soho, Charged presents six new plays from six of the brightest female voices in British theatre.
You’ll journey into Soho Theatre’s different spaces, discovering the untold stories of women and the criminal justice system. Girl gangs and life on the edge, older women trapped in the system, deaths in custody, child trafficking, addiction and power struggles are some of the themes uncovered through this series of engaging, provocative and moving plays.
If you've seen Clean Break's productions before you'll know what to expect, not a particularly light fluffy evening but an exhilarating one none-the-less.
Written by EV Crowe, Sam Holcroft, Rebecca Lenkiewicz, Chloë Moss, Winsome Pinnock and Rebecca Prichard and with a creative team including Tessa Walker, Lucy Morrison and Caroline Steinbeis - there are some big names in there so definitely worth catching this one.
The series of six plays are produced alternatively in 2 cycles and you can book to see Charged 1 (3 plays), Charged 2 (the other 3 plays) or both. Discounts are available when you book to see all six plays.
