From underground club darling to a bona fide national treasure, PJ Harvey is headed back to London for two incendiary nights at Brixton Academy.

While 30th October has now sold out, tickets for Monday 31st October (yup, Halloween, everyone) are still available, making this the perfect reason to celebrate all that is hallowed, gothic and grunge about this fair isle.

After the release of stand-out album The Hope Six Demolition Project, PJ Harvey’s live show has been garnering much-deserved attention across the world thanks to its stunning direction, lighting and feel. Performing with a full band this year for the first time since 2011, the Guardian described their performance at Field Day earlier this year as appearing “like grizzled bodyguards protecting an exiled monarch”. It’s a fitting description for an artist at the top of her game.
