It’s a collaboration between East 15 Acting School Angels, Nwando Ebizie, Hannah Ringham, Brigitte Aphrodite, Ama Josephine Eclair, Rowena & Maisie, Ale Marzotto, Virgin Xtravaganzah, Jasmin Kent Rodgman, Eugenie Abbott, Mārtiņš Baumanis, Vera Stadler, Ela Zum Winkel, Inja Radman, Taylor Callum Danson, Eleni Papaioannou, Viva AY Msimang and more.

“We reinvent the traditional wedding. Turn it upside down. It all starts with the extravagant, surreal ceremony. Personal love becomes universal love. Prayers become euphoric exclamations of hope carrying you to new heights. Traditional chants receive a shocking remix into the most sacrilegious of synth pop. As we cut the enormous wedding cake, we’re interrupted by the brutally honest confessions of family and friends, culminating in a heated debate… and then there’s the classic wedding punch-up (Tarantino style). The bride Livia Rita will celebrate by giving a concert. We end the night with a waltz & wedding gifts having tasted infinite possibilities of what the future holds.”

About LIVIA RITA:

Livia has developed her own eclectic musical style together with Tom McLuckie drawing on a wide range of influences and genres spanning electronic, pop, experimental, gospel, classical and avant-garde styles. She subverts the listeners with each song, as wild, brutal textures clash into otherworldly, vulnerable melodies in adventurous and emotional ways. Her stark lyrics are at time movingly honest, at times inscrutable, and they manage to create an electrifying ambiance of something forward-moving, something with purpose.

Livia explores more avant-garde ways of performing her music through a strong visual identity; formed of bespoke costumes, theatrical staging and stylised movement designed by herself. Together, it collides into a 4D explosion of art; a surreal live music video that straddles fantasy and reality, capable of intoxicating audiences with the exploration of love, freedom, dreams and progressive thinking.
