The Closing Gala and Awards Ceremony of the UK Green Film Festival celebrates environmental film with a screening of Daniel Dencik’s epic adventure film ‘Expedition to the End of the World’.

A three-mast schooner packed with artists, scientists and a spirit for adventure set off for the end of the world - the melting icecaps of Greenland. Get set for an epic journey with tales of brave sailors, polar bear incidents and encounters with new and unknown parts of the world. Expedition to the end of the world confronts with big questions of life with a liberating sense of humour.

The winner of the 'Palme Verte' award for best film 2014 will be announced during the ceremony, along with further awards, guest speakers and Q&As.
