Mahmood Kiyani Falavarjani, our protagonist and filmmaker, has been admitted to a psychiatric hospital with bipolar disorder and is grief- stricken over the death of his pet fox - the star of his award-winning short, The Raven and the Fox. Encouraged by his doctor to move on, Mahmood begins on a new film, but before that he must capture and tame another fox.
