After living in the US illegally for over 20 years, Miko takes a cross-country journey from LA to NYC in this critical moment of hostility against migrants in the country he has come to know as home.

In this accomplished first feature, undocumented filmmaker Miko Revereza documents a train journey he took across America last year. Utilising a potent mix of discreet recordings, sound design, on-screen subtitles and Instagram stories, the film reflects its maker’s lived experience, but also that of the millions of other marginalised people whose every movement is similarly imperilled. An observational study and politically charged personal documentary, No Data Plan is a travelogue of an altogether different kind.

Also screening: Dear Santo Toribio (audio documentary), Sarah Geis, USA 2013, 5 min.
