Pioneer of Black British cinema, LSFF present Ngozi Onwurah’s body of work, followed by a panel discussion discussing her legacy, hosted by Onwurah herself.
Pioneer of Black British cinema Ngozi Onwurah's body of work weaves autobiographical narrative with astute socio-political observation. The first Black British woman filmmaker to have a feature film released in UK cinemas, this is a celebration of Ngozi's legacy, with a screening of rare works followed by a panel discussion.
Panellists include Ngozi Onwurah, producer Simon Onwurah and artist Martina Attille.
