To mark the one year anniversary of the EU referendum, The Guardian and Headlong Theatre teamed up to create short dramas set across the UK.

Prominent scriptwriters, including Abi Morgan and Maxine Peake, were commissioned to write short scripts performed by well-known actors - from Kristin Scott Thomas to Penelope Wilton to Nasser Memarzia - from each region. Each script was filmed on location with a diverse range of characters who highlight the nation’s growing divisions at a moment of seismic political change.

Along with a screening of nine films, a live performer will read one of the scripts from the series on stage, followed by a panel discussion with Jess Gormley and Noah Payne-Frank from The Guardian, Amy Hodge from Headlong Theatre and comedian Meera Syal.

Your Ma’s A Hard Brexit, written by Stacey Gregg, performed by Bronagh Gallagher
