The London Short Film Festival brings a life-affirming programme of short documentaries to the University Tent at Occupy London Stock Exchange.
This varied selection is linked together by an understanding of other ways of life and cultures, whether it be young mothers from multi-cultural backgrounds in Hackney, an exploration of life in a Burmese refugee camp, a film about the daily-life of a road sweeper, or a look at the challenges faced by a young Kenyan girl born into poverty. Includes a short doc about grassroots anti-austerity action network UK Uncut.
Please note that this screening will only take place if the Occupy London Stock Exchange camp has not been dismantled!
Films screening in this programme are (in alphabetical order):
SWEEP, Harold Chapman, 10 min
THE CAMP, Mark Monti, 10 min
HACKNEY LULLABIES, Kyoko Miyake, 11 min
MY NAME IS FEKER, Orlando von Einsiedel, 12 min
UK UNCUT, Gemma Atkinson/Fred Grace, 14 min
