We're back!

Take heart dear reader, despite the world-beating chaos happening right now, there are creative folk working hard on exciting projects for us to enjoy.

At Run-Riot, as we return to the fold, we'll continue to bring our peer-led culture recommendations and magazine articles to you.

Our first Guest Editor of the season is Adam Dant, the satirical artist with a penchant for cartography. Adam has been commissioned by the infamous Art Car Boot Fair (ACBF) to illustrate the map for their pandemic-proof viral edition (20 Sept). For his Run-Riot interview, Adam speaks with ACBF producer Julien Planté about all things Art Car Boot-Opia. For the curious and art lovers alike, you'll enjoy a good rummage and bargain from Gavin Turk, Mat Collishaw, Rankin, Sara Pope, Noel Fielding and many more!

In addition to Adam's four recommended events (here), we're adding to the mix a special screening of LES MISÉRABLES (presented by the founder of Secret Cinema); an online sound and film project by former Shunt creatives called 'Double' as part of the Venice Film Festival; and a 2-hour zoom lecture by You Me Bum Bum Train as a fundraiser for the War Child charity.

For those of you seeking some sensual erotica, you'll relish the feature by artist Sophia Schorr-Kon. The Artistic Director of theatre company Told by an Idiot Paul Hunter writes for Run-Riot about 'Get Happy', the companies out door show as part of the Greenwich + Docklands International Festival (12 Sept).

Stay safe dear reader, and we'll write again later this month. Bottoms up! Jamie x
