TOWP look forward to the launch of the Feminist Times this month. Journalist and author Charlotte Raven decided to re-launch iconic 70's feminist publication Spare Rib - but a tiresome and complicated legal battle with the originators meant that it was easier to go with a new name. Which is possibly a good move, no ties to an historic manifesto, a clean slate - a forward thinking progressive, funny women's magazine, for men too. Charlotte Raven and her deputy the brilliant Deborah Coughlin (Gaggle choir leader and friend of TOW) had a chat with Ruth Barnes in a garden in North London about the perils of starting up a new magazine and being a feminist and... funny!
