Volunteers Wanted: Performers and crew for RETZ present The Trial
RETZ are explorers of fictional worlds and tell stories without boundaries.
During February, March and April 2013 RETZ will present The Trial, an adaptation of Kafka's classic story of alienation and fear, they need your help!
They will be mapping the story of Joseph, a man arrested for unknown crimes, across multiple venues in East London, through short films and digital content. Audiences are encouraged to explore installations, investigate a pervasive network of online content, have one-on-one performances, discover supplementary content and visit bespoke in-character events.
They are looking for enthusiastic performers seeking to get some experience in the world of immersive, digital and site specific theatre. We have several volunteer roles that will be situated in Shoreditch Town Hall, and a disused 1970s community centre in Hoxton. These roles can be played by multiple people, and so this is a unique opportunity to get involved in an exciting and innovative production in a way that suits your schedule!
In addition to performers they are also also looking for people to get involved with other aspects of the show, from set decorating, to prop hunting, stage managing, assisting with costume and many other roles besides.
The project will be fun, challenging and unique, and your time, passion and skills will be greatly appreciated by the small but ambitious team. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact rachel@retz.co.uk
