Submissions are now open for the sixth edition of Open City Documentary Festival!

Open City Documentary Festival creates an open space in London to nurture and champion the art of creative documentary and non-fiction filmmakers. The festival offers filmmakers from around the globe the opportunity to have their work seen by award-winning judges, fellow filmmakers and a broad public audience.

Open City Documentary Festival takes place each June in venues across London and offers filmmakers from around the globe the opportunity to have their work seen by award-winning judges, fellow filmmakers and a dedicated public audience. The festival will take place 21 - 26 June 2016. 

2015 jurors included David Wilson (True/False Film Fest), Shanida Scotland (BBC Storyville), Toby Jones (Actor), Andrew Kötting (Artists/Flimmaker), Rebecca Lenkiewicz (Writer), Carmen Gray (Film Critic), Charlie Philips (Head of Documentaries, The Guardian), Darya Bassell (Programme Coordinator, Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival), Peter Taylor (Director, Berwick Film and Media Arts Festival) and Nick Sweeney (Filmmaker).
