Hoxton Hall are looking for an organised, determined individual with fantastic attention to detail to join them as our Youth Arts Co-ordinator. Working in one of the most diverse and creative communities in London, you will thrive in a fast paced environment that requires regular multi-tasking and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people on a daily basis.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Project Co-ordinator: Plan and manage events and projects. To oversee delivery, set up and monitoring of youth arts offer at Hoxton Hall. Co-ordinate freelance tutors and artists for Hoxton Hall.
Partnership and Project Monitoring: Co-ordinate and manage delivery partners. Carry out monitoring and evaluation of programmes on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis for Hoxton Hall, Hackney (and other funders where appropriate) ensuring all data is correct and submitted in a timely fashion. Create new partnerships with local schools and youth groups to achieve monitoring targets.
Management: Coordinate and line manage Youth Engagement Workers. Inspire the team to generate ideas to reach new and harder to reach children and young people to engage with activities at Hoxton Hall. Ensure continued professional development of the team.
Venue: Have oversight of the venue, reporting maintenance and all H&S issues internally and externally as required. Be the lead child protection officer when duty managing the venue.
Youth Arts Programme: To co-ordinate workshop activity as set out in workshop timetable including all the relevant planning and preparation. Incorporate summer and holiday programmes at Hoxton Hall and other venues as appropriate.
