Job Opportunity: Research Manager, Arts, British Council
This is excellent opportunity for a Research Manager within the Cultural Skills Unit (CSU) in the Arts Department, who will be responsible for undertaking research across Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Ukraine to inform the development of new cultural skills programmes.
It is a fast-moving and diverse role, working at the heart of the British Council’s Cultural Skills Unit. You will be working to a set time-frame, following an established research framework that has been developed and tested by the unit.
You will be required to draft a high-quality comprehensive report and executive summary articulating the research findings and offering evidenced-based recommendations for each country. This will be used to inform policy and programme development in the region.
You will need to have professional experience of working in a research environment, confident project management skills, a ‘can-do’ attitude and excellent team working skills, looking to gain international experience working for a global cultural relations organisation and delivering results that lead to real change.
You must be available to start on Monday, 13 July 2015. You will also have to be available for work overseas during the following periods:
- 7 - 18 September 2015
- 26 October – 6 November 2015
- 9 – 25 November 2015 and
- 18 – 29 January 2016.
