Job Opportunity: PR Junior Account Executive, Mobius Industries
HOURS: 40 Hours per week, 10am-6pm Monday to Friday, with a one hour lunch break.
Additional hours may be necessary to fulfil the requirements of the post.
SALARY: £18,000 - £22,500
ANNUAL LEAVE: 21 days p.a. pro rata plus bank/public holidays (one day added for every year with the company)
PROBATIONARY PERIOD: 2 months
NOTICE PERIOD: 1 week during probationary period, 2 months thereafter

With such a small, dedicated team the company is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on the demanding requirements of the PR services, supporting the client managers to deliver effective campaigns while coordinating providing administrative support to the team.

Role description
Specifics of the role are
a) Client Relations
Meeting clients for briefing on projects
Liaising with clients to organise press coverage
Reporting on projects to the PR Director
Compiling reports of press coverage
b) PR Work
Research PR campaigns
Writing and sending press releases to all relevant media
Co-ordinating listings as required
Pitching relevant press angles to targeted arts journalists to gain media coverage through features, interviews and picture previews
Liaising with venue(s) over arrangements for press tickets
Inviting relevant press to review production and managing press bookings
Attending and co-ordinating press performances
Arranging interviews between journalists and members of the client’s company
Selecting images and dealing with requests for images, footage and other information
Coordinate press cuttings
Maintaining and expanding our journalist contact database
c) Administration and office support
Contributing to our social media feed
Answering the phone
Proof reading
Liaison with IT support on IT issues
Purchasing of office sundries / stationery
Other duties as required
Person Specification
The successful candidate will have the following characteristics
Essential
Strong interest and enthusiasm for theatre and live performance
Previous experience in an arts or PR organisation
Excellent verbal and written skills
A positive “can do” attitude
A high level of self-motivation and the ability to meet demanding targets within tight deadlines
Good multi-tasking skills
A good eye for detail
The ability to thrive as part of a close and committed team
Desirable
Previous experience in a client or customer facing role
Strategic and creative thinking
Up-to-date experience and knowledge of social media and digital communication techniques
A knowledge of current thinking and trends in arts journalism
Knowledge of the key theatre journalists, publications and digital outlets
A creative approach to problem solving
A good grasp of IT skills including in Microsoft Word and Excel
On-the-job training and support to develop skills and contacts further will be offered.
