LIFT is looking to appoint an Executive Director to join the team and work with Artistic Director/CEO Kris Nelson to lead the organisation into its next exciting stage.
For over three decades LIFT has presented the stories of the world to every corner of London, pioneering new forms of theatre and setting the benchmark for internationalism in the arts. Working closely with major theatres, dance houses, museums and galleries, LIFT produces a biennial London-wide festival with commissioning at its heart, as well as year-round activity including large scale projects, national touring and participatory work.
We are now seeking to appoint an Executive Director to work with Kris Nelson, the Board and the LIFT team as we create and deliver the fantastic next chapter of LIFT’s story.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in strategic planning, generating income and developing effective relationships, with a successful track record working in a senior management position within the cultural sector. Working in partnership with and reporting to the Artistic Director/CEO, the Executive Director will provide LIFT with strategic leadership, business planning, fundraising and partnerships, as they lead the team and oversee the organisation’s operational, administrative and finance functions.
