Job Opportunity: Director of Marketing and Communications, National Centre for Circus Arts
The National Centre for Circus Arts are calling all experienced marketing professionals with leadership and interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate with people of all ages and backgrounds to join their team.
This year marks an important milestone in the organisation’s history with the celebration of their 25th anniversary, award of national status and relaunch as the National Centre for Circus Arts so their looking for Director of Marketing and Communications to join them at this exciting time, build on their recent success and expand the marketing and communications strategy as they take a leading role in supporting the circus sector in the UK; creating opportunities for circus to be seen and for people to participate in training at all levels.
This role will have a particular focus on strategically developing the organisation’s market positioning and driving forward their use of data and digital technologies. The post holder will work alongside an external PR company to lead on profile raising for both the organisation and the wider circus arts sector, building on the success of their recent launch as the National Centre for Circus Arts. They will support the Joint Chief Executives and Director of Finance and HR in ensuring that internal communication and messaging is the best it can be, lead on the development and delivery of a robust Marketing and Communication strategy supporting the organisation’s business plan, and support a wide range of programme areas, commercial and fundraising activity.
Details:
Salary: £40,000 pa
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Line management responsibility: Head of Marketing and Communications, Communications Manager, Customer Services and Sales Manager, Customer services team, occasional interns, volunteers, work placement students.
