Job Opportunity: Campaigns Manager, Vintage

VINTAGE discovers and publishes leading thinkers and writers from around the globe. Authors published by VINTAGE include the current holders of the Man Booker Prize, The Samuel Johnson Prize and the Nobel Prize for Literature.
VINTAGE is seeking a talented Campaigns Manager to join the Vintage Publicity and Marketing team. You will be responsible for delivering inspirational, integrated on- and off-line consumer campaigns for some of our bestselling, internationally acclaimed authors. You will need to have established media, festival and trade contacts, be adept at creating original content that will engage and excite our readers and be fully aware of the latest digital opportunities. Your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Liaising with key stakeholders to help shape the strategy for the promotion of paperbacks, whilst representing the VINTAGE paperback imprint externally to third parties

  • Devising, implementing and leading on all elements of publicity and marketing campaign creation for VINTAGE paperbacks

  • Running PR campaigns for key hardbacks titles published by different imprints across the VINTAGE division

  • Securing third party partnerships to develop authors profiles

  • Liaising and supporting the Vintage Sales Team and International Group companies to grow sales of our bestselling titles

  • Building a strategy for VINTAGE events to help us reach new audiences

  • Assisting with planning and preparation for internal and author presentations

Your Profile

  • Robust previous experience within a publishing, media, or agency environment

  • Confident campaign planning (ideally across publicity and marketing)

  • An understanding of key online platforms, an interest in digital trends and experience of creating innovative social media campaigns

  • Established media contacts and events experience

  • A love of literature and storytelling across all formats and an interest in media in all its forms

  • An ability to multitask and handle competing priorities

  • Confidence to work individually and a willingness to work as part of a team
