The Place is looking for an exceptional arts professional to join its theatre and artist development team.

This is a senior and pivotal role in one of the world’s busiest contemporary dance theatres, dedicated to creating the optimum conditions for artists to shape the future of contemporary dance performance.

The Deputy Director works closely with the Director, Eddie Nixon, and the team to develop strategy, imagine new ideas, implement plans and manage budgets.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced arts manager who is passionate about contemporary dance and/or performance. You will enjoy finding creative solutions to unexpected challenges, have experience of strategic and business planning, and be skilled in developing administrative systems.

Salary: £39,717 pa
