Ideas Tap and Bush Hall seek budding Arts Journalist for Radar 2012

Aged 18 to 30? The Bush Theatre – the world-famous home for new plays and an internationally renowned champion of playwrights – is looking for an IdeasTap member to report on their upcoming RADAR 2012 festival.
This is a great opportunity to access events in RADAR 2012, network with staff and artists and develop your journalistic skills. Running from 7-22 November, RADAR 2012 sees performances from some of the UK’s most exciting artists, reveals sneak peeks of work in progress, and presents a series of provocative talks and debates led by theatre makers from across the industry.
Join the Bush Theatre as we challenge the conventions of how new writing is made, shared and seen, and discover the next generation of new writing talent.
• The winner will receive a press pass to selected events as arranged by the Bush Theatre in the first five days of the festival 7-11 November.
• They will then be expected to write a 500-word round-up which will be published in IdeasMag no later than 14 November.
• The winner will also potentially be given access to exclusive interviews with RADAR contributors which can be written up a separate IdeasTap article.
• The winner will also receive a 10 per cent discount in the Bush Theatre’s Café Bar The full programme of events are on the Bush’s website.
All RADAR 2012 events will be located at the Bush Theatre, 7 Uxbridge Road, Shepherds Bush, W12 8LJ. Entrants must be able to commit to attending RADAR 2012 from 7-11 November, and must be able to demonstrate an example of their writing which would make them an appropriate candidate for this brief.
This brief closes on Monday 29 October at 5pm and is open to IdeasTap members aged 18 to 30 on the closing date.
