The House of Fairytales
Many will know the legendary House of Fairy Tales - the UK based educational arts charity and travelling art circus founded by artists Deborah Curtis and Gavin Turk. That makes it sound really dull and school-y. It's not. It's basically like an Aladdin's Cave for children's imaginations; a rabbit hole they can fall through to escape the modern world of technology and get their hands dirty.
Now, with a new warehouse base in Canning Town, East London, their team at the HoFT is starting a new initiative. This Autumn, they are launching our first ‘art school’ for children – a huge educational, artistic and phantasmagorical experience that will inspire creativity and imagination in visitors.
