After a five year absence, Andrew Logan's Alternative Miss World is making a very welcome, colourful and decorative come-back at Shakespeare's Globe in London on 18 October 2014. Since 1972, this event has become a magnet on an international scale for creatives of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. The contest focuses not on beauty but on personal transformation, celebrating equality and the inherently unique. 

Having secured London's Globe Theatre for the thirteenth Alternative Miss World event since 1972, they want to ensure that they create a show which befits such a special venue. They may very well go for corporate funding in the future, but this year their only hope of raising the funds for this internationally renowned art event is through you and like-minded others. And of course, there will be fabulous perks to all those that donate. 

Donations will help pay for the production, staging, stage dressing, transportation, film recoding, music and musicians, media coverage, printing, ticketing and artists' expenses.
